#DearSmartGirl Campaign

Thank you for your interest in participating in the #DearSmartGirl campaign! This community is committed to supporting you in raising your amazing girls. Learn more about how Raising Smart Girls can support you here.

Did you know that by age 6, most girls already think their male peers are smarter than they are? By 12, girls start to like math and science less and expect not to do well in these subjects. By high school 1 in 3 girls don’t have the confidence that they can have the career they desire. And lastly, because women still represent only 27% of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) workforce.

Your love, guidance, and support can make a powerful difference in helping the smart girls in your life reach high and far for the future they desire and deserve!

Here is how to participate in the campaign:

  • Post a picture of yourself on social media (Instagram, Facebook and everywhere else you are .. ) wearing your tee and with a letter to your smart girl sharing wisdom and insights she can be inspired by.
  • It can be as short or as long as you like. Just write from your heart. If you are a mom of boys, then write to a niece or mentee or you could make it a message to smart girls everywhere encouraging them from your personal experiences.

Please add this note at the end your caption:

@RaisingSmartGirls believes that you are your #smartgirl’s unfair advantage. • Have Fun 😊
  • If you buy a Raising A Smart Girl t-shirt, style the shirt however you would like. You can pair it up with big bold colors or blue jeans. Glam it all the way up or keep it casual. Your choice!
  • Beyond social, we would also love for you to share within your network via email or any other medium you deem effective.
