Who is Iisha Scott?
Iisha Scott is an acclaimed meteorologist, weathercaster, and environmental news reporter on WCNC TV in Charlotte, North Carolina! You may see her on the news weekend evenings and nights, telling you whether or not it will be sunny or raining. However, she gained her true fame while working as a weekend meteorologist in Wilmington, North Carolina! While there, she covered the city’s second-largest ice storm in history!
She was also an award-winning meteorologist for NBC Chicago! However, behind all of that experience is a whole bunch of education too. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences and Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Most recently, Iisha earned the Certified Broadcast Meteorologists seal from the American Meteorological Society!
Giving back is as important to Iisha as the weather! She held her Back to School Vision Board Party in 2016, encouraging young, smart girls like you to do whatever they set their mind to and chase their wildest dreams! She’s even involved in several mentoring programs as well.
