Public Health Physician & Urban Epidemiologist
Born in Nigeria, Tolu Oni has always known she wanted to make a difference in field of medicine.
She established the Research Initiative for Cities Health and Equity (RICHE), to address complex issues with population health and societal challenges through a partnership with academia, local communities and governments.
She is a Next Einstein Forum Fellow, and a Fellow of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Health and Healthcare.

- Her goal and her work is to help improve population health.
- When she was eight years old, she wanted to be a pediatric cardiologist after seeing a documentary of an open heart surgery on a child.Â
- She was co-chair of Young Global Academy from 2017-2019, which gives young scientists from around the world a voice.Â
