Professor Xie Yi is a veteran L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award winner for her research in inorganic chemistry.
Her significant contribution to creating new nanomaterials that can convert heat or sunlight into electricity could help reduce pollution. She has dedicated her life to find new and intelligent solutions to address the environmental challenges that affect our planet.
She is currently a professor at University of Science and Technology of China.
