Dr. Sameera Moussa’s discoveries paved the way for nuclear research to be more accessible and cost effective. After she lost her mother to cancer, she was determined to find better medicine through science. Her research led her to come up with a historic equation that would help break the atoms of cheap metals that paved the way for a cheap nuclear bomb. This led her to organize the Atomic Energy for Peace Conference (Atoms for Peace) to help protect against nuclear hazards.
3 Things We Love About Sameera:
- She wanted to make nuclear treatment as available and as affordable to all who needed it.
